Braid hairstyles are used by women of all ages from schoolBraid Hairstyle Picture girls to old age. Braids are of different varieties of hairstyles. They are cornrows, French braid, English braids and the plain braid. Braids can be woven with jewel ribbons, beads, pearls, flowers, and colored strings.

When creating an individual braid with extensions, start in the center of the subsection. Split the hair into three or five sections, with the natural hair encompassed in the center section.

Braid HairstylesBraid the hair from the scalp to the end of the hair, using an underhand, or inverted, technique. Each time you pass a side strand under the center strand, bring the center strand over tightly, so that the side strand becomes the new center strand. Then pass the strand once left side and from right side.

When you reach the ends, pull out a long, small section of hair, wrap it around the braid, knot it, and repeat wrapping and knotting. Wrapping and knotting holds the tight braid in place and allows it to curve. Repeat the entire procedure by continuing taking next parting. You can braid it tightly or loosely as required.

Some women likes to braid till the end of the hair and some likes to braid leaving bulky and keep rubber band. In some cases this bulky and bumpy look has become very popular. These are fast and effective methods for adding extensions if you do not mind the braids looking like a helmet.
