Greying Hair
Gray hair is one of the most audacious signs of aging. The age when greying begins depends on one’s genetic inheritance. Aging is generally a reason that causes the hair to turn grayish. But premature graying of hair is a condition which demands the need to pay attention to the prime cause. Sebum, an oily substance secreted from the sebaceous glands of the scalp and accountable for health, luster and blackness of hair, becomes deficient.
Other causes of greying of hair is diet, worries and tension and lack of specific vitamins in the body. Washing the hair with hot water, drying it with an electric dryer, and use of hair dyes. Heredity is also a predisposing factor. Rapid greying of hair may occur after severe emotional strain. In certain internal diseases such as diseases of the Thyroid Gland, certain anaemias, hair may grey early.
Cigarette smoking has been associated to premature gray hair. Graying of hair home remedy treatment is quite efficacious. Diet is of most concernment in the prevention and treatment of premature greying of hair. Devitalizing foods such as white flour, refined sugar and all products made from them, soft drinks, pastries, jams and jellies should be avoided. Take a few pieces of costated gourd and dry them in sun. Thenceforth, soak in coconut oil and keep for about 3-4 hours. Boil the oil, till a black leftover is left. Massage your scalp with it. It will help in restoring the pigment to the hair. Massage of the scalp with almond oil is prescribed. Curry leaves are excessively useful in preventing premature graying of hair. They provide strength to the hair roots.
